The rocket carrying the top pop star, MC Gayle King, former NASA scientist Aisha Bowe, Vietnamese-American human rights activist Amanda Nguyen, film producer Kerianne Flynn and Lauren Sánchez – billionaire Jeff Bezos’s fiancee – was launched at 8:30 a.m. (local time) from Blue Origin’s facility in West Texas (USA) and flew to the Kármá line – the space boundary 62 miles (100 km) from Earth.
